Bowmore 15 Yr Darkest Islay Single Malt Scotch 750Ml

Nose:    Fragrantly smoky. Perfumy, very floral. Hessian. Sea air. Astonishingly fresh, delicious, appetizing, complex.

Palate:  Perfumy start. Hint of flowering currant. Nutty. Layers of dry, black treacle, maltiness.

Finish:   Smooth. Polished stone. Hard, salty, liquorice.

Comment:  Not that dark – just tawny. Whisky in its mid teens, I would say, but from superb sherry casks.
